CMS means Content Management System, that is a kind of online software, based usually on some databases, which helps with content (data / members) management. Examples of some popular CMS are Joomla, PHP-Nuke or Drupal. Within CMS we define set of rules directing data/members relations.
CMS can be used for payable access to some content - we can sell access to digital products (information, video, images etc.) and one of the examples is usage of CMS for managing online gamers. |
